Much Ado about Pain : Pain Theory Workshop for Pilates Teachers

w/ Special Guest Teachers - Dominique Bulgin & Mark Archer

Pilates Workshop - Pain Theory - Image of pain radiating from a shoulder

Pain is more than mechanics - it’s a lived experience, shaped by the whole person. In this livestream workshop, guest teachers Dominique Bulgin and Mark Archer will guide you through the foundations of pain science, simple assessment techniques, and movement-based intervention strategies.

Because this course is fully online and livestreamed, you can join us from anywhere in the world. No matter where you’re located, you’ll have the opportunity to interact, learn, and apply these insights directly to your teaching.

You’ll gain a trauma-informed perspective that helps you honour your clients’ voices and understand that pain is whatever the person says it is. This knowledge is vital for Pilates instructors who want to work confidently with people living with chronic pain, or those who need a more mindful, compassionate approach to movement.

Expect practical strategies you can apply right away, whether in private sessions or group classes, that will allow you to create safer, more supportive spaces for your clients.
